We hope to improve efficiency with our  new production capabilities to build and ship your probes faster!

R & D Laboratory

R & D laboratory where the latest and greatest in neural technology is underway.

Office area

Office area in the new space provides a more collaborative environment. We love it! The move to the new space is now complete and all production and other activities are in full swing. The next part of the plan is to add some recreational facilities in the new space.

Custom Neural Probe Design

NeuroNexus offers a custom neural probe design and packaging service that provides unique access to a virtually unlimited design space and a broad range of innovative packaging solutions.

Each custom probe design package includes:

• Consultation with our engineering team to validate feasibility of your proposed design

• Translation of your design into a CAD layout

• Formal design review with our technical team

• State-of-the-art microfabrication of your design

• Packaging and testing of the fabricated probes

• Ability to imprint text (such as your name!) on the probe shank

Silicon-Polymer Hybrid neural recording electrode

NeuroNexus is pleased to announce a new H-series package.  This “hybrid” package is comprised of an A-Style silicon probe, a polymer cable, and an application specific connector assembly.

The H-series replaces the NeuroNexus F-series package which utilized a commercial flex circuit as the cable.  Optimized assembly techniques, along with the increased flexibility of the new microfabricated cable, offer a superior package for your chronic implants. This H-series is designed to interface with our new head-mounted microdrive, providing a means to periodically move your implanted NeuroNexus array after implantation.

In addition, the H-series package can be used as an alternative to the current C-style chronic assembly, which includes a silicon probe with integrated silicon cable.  The H-series offers unprecedented modularity, providing you the opportunity to choose any A-Style probe for your chronic experiment. The H-Series polymer interconnect also offers improved robustness and flexibility.

Like most NeuroNexus products, a custom design service is available for those customers who have specific requirements not met with catalog devices.
